I just felt sort of inclined to make an update. I'm not sure if anyone will see this seeing as how Facebook and Twitter are now the titans of internet social networking.
A lot has happened since I last posted. I graduated in December entering an economic world in shambles and chaos (Mike Conaway's words), went to Vietnam, and finally bought an Xbox 360. There was a lot of drinking too.
Now, I'm taking a hiatus from school and work for about two weeks. I hope to bear good news of finding a job when I next update...which will probably be next year. |

In brief: I started off this year feeling fairly certain that I would never enjoy my life again, and while it didn't start off amazingly, each month was just a little better than the last, and almost every one of my expectations for the year was defied in the best possible way.
I wouldn't even go so far as to say that it was a great year, and I'm well aware that things could always go downhill from here, but it was the year where (for several reasons) I started to gain hope that my future may not be as bleak as I've always assumed it would be.
I'm proud to say that I've ended this year in a very different place from where I started it.
2010 is either going to be a fucking amazing year, or a total disappointment in comparison to 2009. |
